Acro Dance
Acro dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.

Ballet
The foundation of all dance - Classical ballet is a graceful and beautiful genre, showing strength, composure, posture, flowing and precise movements.
Starting with our Pre School Ballet classes, our dancers are inspired through the use of props and imagination. As our dancers get older, classes focus on technique and perfecting steps. Our dancers also gain knowledge each lesson, learning the classical French terminology and ballet history.
From pliés to pirouettes, pas de chats to arabesques and developpés to batterie our ballet classes are full of fun, technique and discipline.

Boys Only Street Dance and Break Dance Classes
Most of our street dance classes are mixed but we do run some specific boys only classes for a boys only zone.

Modern/Jazz/Street Combo Class
One of our most popular classes on offer at LRSD.
Modern dance is a broad genre of theatrical dance, primarily arising out of the US in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Over the years, this style of dance has developed in parallel to popular music. At LRSD you can expect to be dancing to lots of modern music, learning funky, up beat routines.

Musical Theatre
Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, acting, and dance. Matilda, We Will Rock You, Charlie and the Choclate Factory and Wicked are some examples of musicals you will be working from in class.

Street Dance Classes
Another very popular style at LRSD! Learn the most recent dance moves, to current chart music.
Street dance encompasses lots of different styles which we learn in our classes. Lockin'-poppin'-hip hop-breakin-house.
Students are also encouraged to express themselves through improvisation and free styling.

Pre School Classes
Dance classes for girls and boys aged 2-4 yrs, taking them on a magical journey through dance, preparing our smallest students for our classes when they reach school age.
Mixed genre classes are a wonderful infusion of song, mime, ballet, modern and lots of wiggles and giggles!
Street dance classes use funky music and props. The dancers find their confidence, creativity and co-ordination whilst experimenting with their own freestyle vibe!
Ballet classes are a perfect introduction to the world of dance through a more classical approach. Story telling, mime and props are used to encourage confidence and creativity. The seeds of basic ballet will be planted from a young age to continue to blossom as the children grow.
All of our pre school classes are specially designed for this age and keeps the children engaged and most importantly, having lots of fun.
Dancing, listening, playing, imagining and learning!
